All individual amateur radio operators and amateur radio clubs based in the UK, Northern Ireland, Eire, the Isle of Man and Channel Islands are invited to register to become official SOS Radio Week stations.
Officially registered SOS Radio Week stations setup amateur radio stations to raise awareness of the work of the volunteer Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) crews and National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) watch-keepers.
There are two reasons we’d like participating stations to register…
- So we, and the wider amateur radio community, knows who is taking part, when and where.
- So that you can take part in the fun SOS Radio Week Leagues and win awards at the end of the event.
Do read the FAQs; these will hopefully answer any questions you may have before you register.
Please make sure that you have read and understand the Event Rules. By registering you are agreeing to be bound by them.
