Since 2007, the last week in January has become SOS Radio Week for many Radio Amateurs and Amateur Radio societies throughout the UK. Special Event Station GB4CLB, Cromer LifeBoat, will be operational on the 28th, 29th and 30th January 2011 from the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) Boat Shed, Cromer Pier, Cromer (Norfolk, NR27 9HE). The station’s locator square is JO02pw and their Worked All Britain (WAB) square is TG24.
A great big thank you to everyone who has helped to raise over £6,800 for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) during SOS Radio Week events since 2009.
