At 23:59 (UTC) on the final day all operations cease and it’s time to start collecting in the money.
Ideally we would like to have all funds banked by the end of July so that a presentation can be made to the RNLI at the following National Hamfest in Septemeber.
The money you collect can be:
- Donated to your your local RNLI lifeboat station, branch, or guild – we a need a copy of your receipt so that we can include the money you raised in our total
- Banked using the RNLI’s SOS Day facilities – we need a copy of your receipt so that we can include the amount you raised in our total
- Banked in to our fund-raising account – details are provided to all registered participants
Please note: if you have collected sponsor’s details for Git Aid, you need to donate your money to a local RNLI group and give them the sponsorship forms, or bank your funds in our fundraising account and send us the sponsorship forms.
